Was up all night watching Charice utube vids. They still make me cry. Her new cd just doesn't do it for me. I'm sure her teen and tween fans love it. But the songs don't use her unique talents, they don't tap into her full power and range. In an interview, Charice said the new cd represents the new her. I understand that she wants to sing contemporary songs written for her generation, and wants to be mainstream and make lots of money. But I like the old Charice better. I feel like she's turned her back on all her adult fans who have given her sooo much support for so long. Ten years from now, will there be any little girls trying to impress the world by singing any of the songs from Charice's new cd? I doubt it.

That photo of Charice for Pyramid - WOW!!! Those pants are a bit too much for my taste. I've seen some comments from fans about our "little princess" growing up, dressing too sexy for her age, singing songs (All By Myself) not appropriate for her tender age.
But she is growing up. And now that she has a big name producer and recording label it is natural for her to make over her image to look older, more mainstream pop. Maybe it's like playing dress up? I hope she doesn't get slutty looking like some pop tarts. But it's her career and image to do with whatever she wants.
