Blog Entry: This was originally on my Tumblr page :) But I'm posting it here as well: There have been so many great moments in my time of being a Chaster. I’ve met great people, seen great performances and have shared many great moments and conversations with other Chasters. It’s been wonderful just being able to read about their experiences of Charice and how she’s made an impact in their lives. It’s made me think, “Wow this girl really is amazing.” Now this is the kind of positive impact every person should strive to make on others. We should look to her as an example of how to be - she’s kind, passionate about her work, hard working, and always gives 100% effort. The list can go on and on but as I’ve told others, there are not enough good words that exist to describe her. When I heard her life story on Oprah and the SNN interviews, it really got me thinking. Of course I was sitting there crying while watching, but it made me reflect on my own life. If she can go on after facing all that, then I too can go on when there is a pit in the road. She’s helped me in so many ways, I don’t think she knows just how much - but I am grateful to her and her family. Even her blog that she wrote the other day moved me in so many ways. It reminded me that though she is extraordinary, she is also a person like me. Though sometimes we lose faith in ourselves or in Him, He always believes in us and sometimes we have to go through great struggles in life before we realize that truth within ourselves. Though tomorrow is never promised, if it is given to us, then we should at least try. That’s something I will always remember from the interviews. Her mom told her that win or lose, at least they gave it a try - and I think that’s just amazing. I hope that I can at least do that for my own life, and give every opportunity a try whether I succeed or not in the end, there would be no regrets of opportunities given up. She has been through so much yet she has never given up. Her mother was that solid foundation that kept her up all these years and now we as Chasters can help support that foundation. Never underestimate your own power. Through Charice, we are able to help others and help ourselves by taking her good qualities and emanating them ourselves. Though we might not be able to sing like her, we can be kind and generous like her, and share those good qualities with others. Chasters are made up of all different types of people and we all come together for one purpose, and that is to support Charice in what ways we can. Charice without you, we would have missed so many great moments in our own lives - because through you, we were able to find many great things within ourselves and one another. You have already given us so much, by just being who you are, and I want to take this opportunity to thank you again. Thank you for being you, for everything you have done for others and everything you continue to do. Though I could probably never thank you enough for the light you have shone in my own life. You are an amazing person and never let anyone tell you otherwise. Never lose faith ♥
